Beliefs

Bible
God’s Word, the Bible has been inspired by God, and is the complete and infallible. II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; Revelation 22:18-19

God
There is one eternal God, without beginning and without end. God exists in three persons; The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Revelation 1:8; Isaiah 44:6; John 1:1, IJohn 5:7

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is Emmanuel; God with us. He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross in our place and His shed blood is the atonement for our sins. Jesus rose from the dead, and ascended to the right hand of God, and He will make a personal return to earth in power and glory. Holy Spirit
God’s Word provides for the indwelling of Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit is a confirmation that we are God’s. The Holy Spirit empowers the believer to live a Godly life in spiritual unity with Christ. Christ taught us that the two greatest commandments are: love the Lord your God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. We should not give up worshiping, meeting together and serving each another. Luke 3:16; Romans 8:12-17, 1Corinthians 3:16; 12:13; Colossians 3:1-2; 12-14; Matthew 22:37-40, 1John 1:7; Hebrews 10:23-25

Our Spiritual Condition
All have sinned and will stand before God on judgement day. God’s Word tells us those who accept the sacrifice Jesus made for us and proclaim His Name will spend eternity with God in Heaven. God’s Word also states that those who do not accept His gift of grace are lost and will be separated from God in eternal damnation. Because of God’s love for us He is not willing that any should be lost. Everyone can be forgiven and receive the gift of spending eternal life with God. This is by God’s grace, through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Romans 3:10, 23; II Peter 3:7, 9; John 3:15-18; 5:28-29; Matthew 25:31-34, 41, 46; Acts 2:28; Acts 20:21; Romans 10:8-13; Hebrews 7:25; Ephesians 2:8

Baptism
God’s Word instructs everyone who places their faith in Christ to be baptized. We follow Christ in obedience and submit to Baptism to outwardly show the world what has transpired in our heart. Baptism should be administered to those who have believed in Christ, and have been converted by Him.
Matthew 28:19; Matthew 3:13-17; Mark 1:9-11, Luke 3:21-22

Lord’s Supper
Jesus also commanded us to remember the body and blood sacrifice He made for us. The symbol of his body; the bread and his blood; the juice, remind us of the body and blood of Christ. All those who have trusted Christ in faith with their lives are welcomed to the table in Holy Communion. Matthew 26:26-28; Mark 14:22-24; Luke 22:19-20; 1Corinthians 11:23-26

Our Task
Our purpose in life here on earth is provided by The Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. As we go through life we are to show the presence of Christ in our lives and be an advocate for others to come to know Him. He is always by our side. Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16; Luke 24:47; Acts 1:8
