The Perfect Gift In Human Form
“For God did not send His Son into the world to say it is guilty.
He sent His Son so the world might be saved from the punishment of sin by
Him.” John
Mary
and Joseph, ostracized by their community for their apparent premarital
sin, are now about to play the most important part in God’s love for us.
When we are Christmas shopping for the ones we love, we look for
the most meaningful gifts which say to that person, “this is especially
for you”. God has given to
you and me the most perfect gift and says,
“this is especially for you”!

Why Did
God Choose A Stable ?
* a
stable certainly wasn’t the most sanitary place to deliver a baby
*
seems that a palace would be more
appropriate for the birth of a King
1)
God trusted this spiritually and
morally upright couple for His purpose
2)
being born in
3)
a lowly place was designated by God to ensure that we would
always know that He came for all of us-
rich and poor Luke
4)
this humility built a bridge between man and God
Philippians 2:5-8
5)
All that He was (as God) now occupied human flesh.
Jesus (God) put His glory “on hold” the way we put a telephone
call on hold. He momentarily humbled Himself and His power

A Manger
(feeding trough) Was for Food Supply
1)
God initiated that valuable relationship with us
1 John 4:9

* God
loves you- and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you
more. His love is
absolute, therefore He cannot love you any
less !
Ephesians
3:17-19
