The Ultimate Service

Then Moses summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you shall go with this people into the land that the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them, and you shall put them in possession of it.”  Deuteronomy 31:7 ESV

Moses’ work as God’s servant is over.  The ultimate servant for the Ultimate God, for the Ultimate purpose.

27 "How long will these sinful people speak against Me? I have heard the people of Israel complaining against Me.33 Your children will be shepherds in the desert for forty years. They will suffer because you were not faithful, until your dead bodies lie in the desert. 34 You spied out the land for forty days. For each day you will carry your guilt a year, forty years. And you will know that I am against you. 35 I the Lord have spoken. For sure I will do this to all these sinful people who are gathered together against Me. They will be destroyed in this desert. And there they will die.' "                Numbers 14:27,33-35  NLV

Read: Deuteronomy  32:48-52; 34:1-12
