Marks Of A Caring Church
15 “I know everything you have done, and you are not cold or hot. I wish you were either one or the other.” Revelation 3:15 (14-19)

To be the kind of church that Christ wants us to be, we must be, caring, committed, and Christ centered. We must apply and practice these truths individually and corporately for God to be honored !

v.9 Be Sincere
     John 13:35 ....by this behavior will everyone know...
* Genuinely Love
* Notice people and pay attention to them and their needs

v.10 Be Considerate
     Philippians 2:3 ...esteem others over yourself
      Luke 6:31 ...golden rule...
* Put others needs first- this shows spiritual growth and maturity

v.11 Be Energetic
     Romans 12:11 “Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.” (Amp)
* Serve with fervor and enthusiasm
* Let go of lethargy

V.12 Be Prayerfully Patient
     1 Timothy 2:1-2 ...pray often and always...
     1 Thessalonians 5:17 ....pray with out pause...

v.13 Be Warm
     Hebrews 13:2 ...be open to entertain guests... Hospitality
     Proverbs 18:24a ...if you expect friends- you must be friendly

v.14 Be Different
     1 Peter 2:9 ...you are chosen of God for His plan...
     Matthew 5:39 ...don’t seek to get even...

v.15 Be Understanding
     Galatians 6:2 ...be there and share- discouraged people don’t need critics, they hurt enough already

v.16 Be As One
“Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits” Romans 12:16 (Amp)
