All
have sinned and are awaiting the judgment of God. God is not willing that
any should be lost. The Bible says both the saved and the lost will be
resurrected, the saved unto life eternal and the lost unto eternal
damnation. Because of God’s love, everyone may be forgiven and receive the
gift of salvation and eternal life by God’s grace, through repentance and
faith in Jesus Christ.
10As
it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;
23for
all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
7By
the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept
for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
9The
Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is
patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to
repentance.
15that
everyone who believes in him may have eternal life. 16"For
God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes
in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For
God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the
world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not
condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has
not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.
28"Do
not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves
will hear his voice 29and come out—those who have
done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be
condemned.
31"When
the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on
his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations
will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as
a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He
will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34"Then
the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my
Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation
of the world.
41"Then
he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the
eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
46"Then
they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal
life."
38Peter
replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus
Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the
Holy Spirit.
21I
have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance
and have faith in our Lord Jesus.
8But
what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your
heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9That
if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For
it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your
mouth that you confess and are saved. 11As the
Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."
12For there is no difference between Jew and
Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for,
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
25Therefore
he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he
always lives to intercede for them.
8For
it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God—
